2024 CAMP REGISTRATION

We encourage you, if you have not done so already to start by reviewing our 2024 Summer Camp Schedule and updated FAQ Page before registering your camper(s). You will notice that we have not one but TWO registration websites, so please move slowly as you select the best option for you and your campers this season.

Why are there two different registration websites?

Due to the nature of the registrations such as ages and lodging, we will be providing two separate registration websites, one for children, youth, and emerging adult sessions and another for family camp registrations. Both registration websites will ask for your login and password to access your registrations. You will use the same login for both websites, but it will prompt you with different registration needs. Please reset your password before you try creating a new account. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at summercamp@stchristopher.org or by calling us at 843-768-1337.

CAMP REGISTRATION

Camp Saint Christopher is back and eager to welcome your camper(s) back to the island! Located on Seabrook Island just south of Charleston, South Carolina, Camp Saint. Christopher (CSC) spans 314 beautiful acres at the mouth of the North Edisto River, making it the perfect spot to spend a week at camp. Each summer CSC hosts approximately 1,000 campers of all ages. We serve individuals starting in Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. We even offer Family Camps that serve multigenerational families and households!

With over 85 years of ministry experience, CSC continues to provide campers with transformative experiences by providing a safe and supportive environment for all campers. We are an intentional summer camp community that follows Jesus into loving, liberating, and life-giving relationships with God, each other, and the earth.

We strive to be a sacred space that nurtures community connectedness by striving for justice and peace among all people and respecting the dignity of every human being.

During the day, campers participate in activities such as hiking through our pristine maritime forest, sailing and kayaking in the estuary, team building, seining, rock climbing, games, archery and much more, along with daily chapel and small-group Bible study.

Your camper will leave this session with the knowledge of how to pitch a tent, set up a campsite, build a fire, cook over a campfire, and the skills to not only survive, but THRIVE, in outdoor living. Campers, counselors, and CIT’s will sleep outside in tents during this camp session. We have a variety of different camping supplies, but encourage families and households to send their campers with some supplies. (Please do not send any camp stoves, tools, or anything that may be considered a weapon) Anything brought from home should be labeled so we make sure it goes back with your camper after the session.

Siblings Camp

Mon-Fri (July 22-26)

$650/Camper #1, $650/Camper #2, $100/per Additional Camper

We are excited to introduce a new session this summer at CSC…Siblings Camp! If you have Rising 3rd-8th grade campers, they now have an option of attending camp at the same time! Any combinations of siblings are welcome to register for this camp session. Please note that our cabin assignments will be based on gender and age groups, so for example a brother and a sister would not be assigned to the same cabin and a third grader would not be assigned to a cabin with only eighth graders. Programming for this session will be designed to bring siblings closer to one another, while also providing time away from each other to connect with peers within their own grade levels. Individual campers do not qualify for this camp session.

Boating Camp

Mon-Wed (July 29-31)

$350/per camper

Perhaps your Rising 3rd-8th grade camper loves CSC, but really just wants to spend time out on the water. Join us for an exciting skill building camp where your camper(s) have a chance to learn the basics of sailing and kayaking. Our team is trained and certified in these specialized areas of programming, and all of these excursions on the water will have proper staffing ratios, and a rescue boat out at all times during instruction. This session follows our typical schedule of activities with an introductory learning environment around checking and preparing for environmental factors, learning to tie knots and rigging a sailboat, to getting quality seat time on our sailboats and time to practice navigating and paddling in our kayaks.

Wind and Waves Celebration

Fri-Sun (August 2-4)

End your summer with an epic weekend filled with laughter, being silly, and playing outside at Camp St. Christopher! We are thrilled to announce that our final youth summer camp session has been expanded to include all campers grades 3 through 9. Come to the beach one s’more time before heading back to school!

Family Camps

FAMILY CAMP REGISTRATION

Our weekend buddy camps have been an important part of our purpose and mission here at Camp Saint Christopher (CSC), and we are thrilled to announce that you can now bring more family and household members with you to camp! We recognize that not all families and households are built around the same structure and want to honor that by expanding our lodging options.

Households can register for camp and choose between a lodge room or a whole side of a cabin. Lodge room will cost each family or household an additional $100 per night per room. We will be able to host more individuals during these sessions and provide more cost effective options for all who are interested. One family or household will be assigned per side of the cabin  We will not assign more than one family or household in a cabin, unless requested.

We encourage families and households to consider sharing a cabin. All requests will be reviewed like cabin mate requests, and we will work diligently to honor these requests to the best of our ability. Our cabins vary in size, but can host 8-10 per cabin. Each lodge room has two full sized beds. No more than 4 campers can stay in one lodge room. Families and households over 4 members are encouraged to consider staying in cabins. Parent(s) or Guardian(s) must attend with children, youth, and emerging adults at these camp sessions, this is not a camp for individuals or couples to register.
