Because Seabrook Island is a gated community, we must notify the Seabrook Security Gate before you arrive, or you will not be allowed onto the island. If you are with a group, please make certain we have an alphabetical list of your guests at least one week before your arrival to help us provide for your easy entry. If you are a last-minute guest, or in an emergency, please call us for assistance at (843) 768-0429. No motorcycles or jet skis are allowed on Seabrook Island.

The speed limit on Seabrook Island is a strictly enforced 25 mph. Please be careful.

From Charleston

  1. Take SC 700 over the Ashley River

  2. Take first right after crossing Wappoo Cut Bridge (You will still be on SC #700)

  3. Follow SC #700 through Riverland Terrace over Stono Bridge to Johns Island

  4. Stay on #700, also known as Maybank Highway, to Bohicket Road (McDonald’s on left)

  5. Turn left. Continue on Bohicket Road, going past River Road (traffic light) and the entrance to Kiawah Island to Seabrook security gate.

  6. At Seabrook security gate, use the inner lane and check in, telling the guard you are a guest at Saint Christopher, your last name, and which group you are with.

  7. Place the pass card on your left dashboard.

  8. St. Christopher is approximately 2.5 miles from the gatehouse, on your right: 2810 Seabrook Island Road at St. Christopher Lane.

From Charleston International Airport

  1. Follow airport exit signs

  2. Go 1.7 miles to third traffic light, turn right onto I-526 West. follow I-526 West to the end (5.6 miles)

  3. Turn right onto Highway 7 at traffic light. (go in direction of Savannah-17 South)

  4. Merge right at next traffic light onto Highway #17 South

  5. Go 5 miles to fourth traffic light (Burger King on left) and turn left onto Main Road (Route 700). You will pass a McDonald’s at the intersection of Maybank Highway, as well as the turnoff for River Rd (traffic light) and Kiawah Island.

  6. Drive approximately 20 miles to Seabrook Island security gate.

  7. At Seabrook security gate, use the inner lane and check in, telling the guard you are a guest at Saint Christopher, your last name, and which group you are with.

  8. Please place the pass card on your left dashboard.

  9. St. Christopher is approximately 2.5 miles from the gate house, on your right: 2810 Seabrook Island Road at St. Christopher Lane.

From Highway 17 North

  1. Traveling North on Hwy #17, turn right at Main Road stop light (Burger King on right). If you come to #526, you have passed it.

  2. Traveling South on Hwy #17, turn left at Main Road stop light (Burger King on left). If you come to Redtop, you have passed it.

  3. Follow Main Road to Seabrook security gate (approximately 19 miles). You will pass a McDonald’s at the intersection of Maybank Highway, as well as the turn off for River Rd (traffic light) and Kiawah Island.

  4. At Seabrook security gate, use the inner lane and check in, telling the guard you are a guest at Saint Christopher, your last name, and which group you are with.

  5. Please place the pass card on your left dashboard.

  6. St. Christopher is approximately 2.5 miles from the gate house, on your right: 2810 Seabrook Island Road at St. Christopher Lane.
