Our lodge rooms do not have televisions, to facilitate an atmosphere of rest.

  • Do you serve meals for those on personal retreat?

If we are already serving meals to a group who is staying on site, you are welcome to add meals onto their reservations. We have a minimum number of diners required before offering meals, so please check with Lisa when you make your reservations to see what is possible. • Do you have coffee available?

Yes, we have coffee available 24/7 in Susanna’s house and other areas on campus. We can clarify the closest coffee access point for you once your room is reserved!

  • What kind of lodging can I stay in at St. Christopher while on personal retreat?

Lodging is offered by availability. We have rooms (all with private bathrooms and wifi) in four different buildings: Live Oak, Palmetto, Sea Oats, and Jamie’s Lodge. We also have two small apartments that can be reserved as well. Typically, those spaces are reserved by guests who wish to stay longer than a night or two. Unlike our lodge rooms, the apartments have a separate cleaning fee associated with the reservation.

  • Do I have to maintain silence while on personal retreat?

We do not practice monastic silence at St. Christopher, but we do have quiet hours from 10 pm to 7 am, out of consideration for all of our guests. Our grounds are peaceful, but you may hear the laughter and joyful conversation of children in Susanna’s house, near the cabins, and on the beach, especially if camp is in session! We consider this a feature, not a bug - for us, there can be no sweeter sound than children having fun and making memories in this beautiful place!
