The Dining Hall at Susanna’s House

Camp Saint Christopher Food Service Department consists of a long-devoted team of individuals who not only prepare and serve quality meals to visiting campers and conference attendees but create a bond with them through food and caring service. St Christopher has provided meals to generations of attendees over the many years. The dedicated staff were anxious to return as pandemic restrictions were eased only to be delt another opportunity to excel with the fire in the dining hall in late 2021. Rising to the challenge the St Christopher team jump into action salvaging what they could from the dining hall and kitchen to set up shop in Susanna’s House with a fully functioning mobile trailer kitchen and split dining accommodations for campers and conference attendees. Chef John who celebrates 22 years, Carmen who has enjoyed 30 years and Liz who has been a familiar face for 18 years at St. Christopher Camp & Conference Center Food Service Department are still serving flavorful and fun camp menus as well as creative and delicious conference offerings. If you return to camp and notice some new faces in the dining hall at Susanna’s House that would be Janette who we welcomed back full time in fall of 2022. Janette works with the morning crew to assure a smooth-running breakfast and lunch service. Zack who joined the team in early 2022 and arrives in the afternoon to help the team get ready for dinner service, Paul who joined the Team in January 2023 helping at night and is the husband of Renzi’s who directs summer camp. Frankie joined the team in April 2022 as our new Director of Food Service.

While we make every effort to accommodate special diets and preferences with our full salad bar, vegetarian/ vegan offerings as well as gluten free and dairy free options we do ask that attendees coordinate their needs with staff in a timely manner prior to arrival.
